Hey, Who Are All Those Good-Looking People?
The good-looking people in question.
- Charles Darwin, of course: 19th century English naturalist. The first evolutionary biologist.
- James Watson: American biologist. Co-discoverer (with Francis Crick) of the structure of DNA. Forced out of his job as chancellor of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in 2007, for pointing out that, on average, blacks are less intelligent than whites.
- Richard Lynn: British psychologist. Researches (among other things) race differences in intelligence.
- Amy Biehl: American anti-Apartheid activist in South Africa. Beaten and stabbed to death by a black mob in a racial hate crime. Her murderers were pardoned by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Her family didn’t seem to mind.
- Jared Taylor: American journalist, editor of the racial realist journal American Renaissance.
- John Derbyshire: British-born, American, conservative opinion journalist (phew). Two-time winner of Keith Olbermann’s “Worst Person in the World” award.
- Steven Pinker: Canadian-American cognitive scientist, with lots of interesting and insightful thoughts on the “blank slate” doctrine (video), among many other things.
In the spirit of your use of the Biehl photo:
It’s too bad there is not a single white face one can associate with the Obama Phenomenon. A politely-PC white racial-naif. She lives 200 miles from the nearest black neighborhood, she considers that swarms of Hispanic illegals — that she never herself sees, mind — are good because “they do jobs we don’t want”, and she is very proud of being colorblind (except to acknowledge the original-sin of being white, for which she can proudly atone through a lifetime of her tax monies being redistributed to nonwhites and them getting lifetime preferences in job-hiring and school placement). This pathetic archetype, so common today, drifts from the lazy days of 2007 into the frantic 2008 election year, and suddenly she finds that a “magic mulatto” has what appears to be a serious shot at the White House. A mulatto with the softest qualifications both for high political office, and to the right to claim the mantle of “Americanism” (as was understood in the pre-PC age), of any major candidate in U.S. history.
Our racial-naif claims to be heroically Post-Racial. One thing strangely does not occur to her: She is voting for a nonwhite pretty much solely because he is a nonwhite, when it comes down to it. She is not post-racial: she is post-white. To repeat a cliche.
Yes, absolutely.
We need to expose this representative of liberal (post-)white America to the realities of black America—in a safe way, of course. She needs to see for herself black failure (without immediately being told that it’s somehow her fault). We obviously can’t rely on the mainstream media for this.
