I may or may not fix spelling and grammatical errors in your comments, put lengthy quotations inside “blockquote” HTML tags, fold long URLs into the text, and make other minor adjustments.
Comments involving so-called “lol-cats” will be held to less rigorous standards, depending on the amount of lol’s associated with said -cat. What I mean is: please send lol-cats, because I heart them.

I’m new to Unamusment Park. I’m glad that you have Amy Biehl’s picture included. The poor, well intentioned girl died a horrifying death at the hands of those beasts. As the father of a daughter I could never lose the mental images of her begging for her life as she was being stabbed and beaten in front of a cheering crowd of prims. Amy was the product of a multicultural program that has been fed to our impressionable children for over half a century. She had a starry eyed view of everyone as being wonderful and wanting to right the wrongs done by evil White people- another part of the Public school curriculum.
To think of her father shaking the hands of those bastards who murdered her and then forgiving them makes me nauseous.
Eve Carson was another victim of the same lies and also paid the ultimate price although she didn’t go into the land of the beasts, they came to her.
As the number of B on W attacks grows everyday and everywhere one wonders how many more Amys, Eves, Anne Pressleys, Channon & Christophers ad infinitum there will be before the White Worm becomes a Cobra.

Well, I’ve seen it now, so let me address it.
The analysis of Darwinism/HBD/materialism/naturalism/atheism/etc. — I’ll just call it Darwinism — is correct, but (and this is crucial) only tells half the story — but frankly, it’s the only half of the story most people are capable of understanding anyway. And that, roughly speaking, is why I believe Christianity is necessary to maintain Western civilization, even though I believe in no religion’s metaphysical claims (or even the validity of the concept of metaphysics).
Here’s what the essay misses: point of view. To pick one simple example: understanding that pain consists merely of electrical signals from pain receptors to your brain, and that your response to pain evolved over billions of years because different pain responses correspond to different levels of reproductive success, does not make burning your face on the stove any less horrible, nor does that knowledge make you avoid said face-burning any less, nor does it make you think “hmm, I wonder how this could impact my future reproductive success” while your face is on fire.
In a cosmic sense, on a geological timescale, yes, it certainly doesn’t matter one bit if the West or even our entire species goes extinct. So what? I am neither a cosmos nor a… geology. I am a me, and me likes Western civilization, so to speak. I can know that my fondness for Western civilization can ultimately be traced back to evolution (tribalism was apparently a good reproductive strategy), but that doesn’t change how I feel. Similarly, I can know why people fall in love, evolutionarily speaking, but that doesn’t negate the experience, because that simply isn’t how our minds process knowledge and emotion (which is also a product of evolution).
There are two very different points of view here, and as both are being processed by one brain (mine/yours), there are two levels of human understanding at work here. There’s reality, and there’s our perception of reality — or rather, there’s our perception of reality, and our perception of our perception of reality. When one truly understands the difference — and apparently very few do, which, again, is more or less exactly why we need religion — the following statements are seen to be right only from one point of view — the cosmic or geological or evolutionary one. From the human or humanist or personal point of view, they are not just wrong, but obviously, outrageously wrong:
“… under a Darwinist view of life, it is not a problem that the West, or humanity, should die” — on a cosmic scale, true; on a human scale, false.
“Under a Darwinian world view, nothing is a problem” — but I have a Darwinian world view (promise), and yet I got all kinds of problems.
“… really, these preferences are artifacts of the random adventures of our antecedents, and have no basis in physical reality” — of course they have a basis in physical reality! Everything that goes on in our heads, goes on (physically) in our heads!
“Quarks don’t care whether they are part of an American, or a Muslim, or a carburetor” — reductionism doesn’t work that way. Consciousness exists on a much higher level of abstraction than subatomic particles. It’s an emergent phenomenon.
“… I mean, if nothing really matters, then I’d rather work on getting laid, drunk, and entertained than anything else” — fair enough. I’d rather work on real work. And my limited understanding of human nature (from a Darwinian point of view) leads me to believe that real work (including real relationships) leads to greater happiness than meaningless sex, heavy drinking, and playing video games in a dark room while civilization crumbles around you. I’m betting I achieve greater (yet still ultimately meaningless, on a cosmic scale, which I don’t live on, so what do I care?) success than the liberal does.
This Darwinian HBD’er, rather than saying “this is how things work, but that doesn’t matter,” is content to say “this is how things work,” and leave the latter half of that sentence unsaid. It should really be “but that doesn’t matter on a cosmic/geological/evolutionary scale, which we don’t live on, so who cares about that anyway,” but I know I’ll never convince most people, so I keep my mouth shut about it.
Far from being “pointless” or “a waste of time,” Darwinism/evolutionary biology/HBD is the science of human nature, and human nature is the foundation of conservatism.

I hope you enjoyed your vacation. I see the state of Virginia yesterday executed Jerry Jackson for rape and homicide of an 88-year-old woman named Ruth Phillips in 2001. As usual, the MSM is not bothering to note verbally or pictorially the races of either the killer or his victim. That’s because noting either of those facts about the case would be raciss. If you look here, you might conclude that Ruth Phillips belonged to some racial group other than white. But if you look here, you will see a less politically correct presentation of the victim’s appearance. Of course the second link includes no written copy, just Ruth’s picture and a video I didn’t bother to watch. But I was encouraged to see that someone was inspired to defy the stricture forbidding anyone from observing the whiteness of a murder victim when the killer is black.
Why is Laurence Auster putting out all of this stuff trying to characterize Peter Brimelow as tacitly anti-semitic? I am new to Auster. Does he dislike VDARE? He only criticizes Brimelow (and Richard Spencer of Alternative Right) for publishing Kevin Macdonald, who Auster argues is an exterminationist anti-Semite. I don’t think it’s fair to say he characterizes Brimelow (or Spencer) as “tacitly anti-semitic.”

You blog seems calculated to shock, but really doesn’t. Once one gets underneath the presentation, the basis of your message appears to be little more than “western civilization has achieved great things. black people commit a lot of violent crime, and score lower on IQ tests even after controlling for socioeconomic factors.” Sadly I suppose even well established facts are wildly controversial in our post-rational age.

Alice, you are the greatest! I don’t know what planet you come from, but please bring on more invaders! I was reading in the dreadful Atlanta paper this week (which my people founded after re-construction), a church dropped its rule against mixed marriage because of outrage, and the Southern Baptists are voting on a name change so as not to offend anyone. It struck me that all this shit is the exact opposite of “diversity.”
When true diversity reigned, there were men’s clubs, ladies clubs, negro clubs, etc. In other words–DIVERSE!!!
What the new “diversity” demands is that we all must be dragged down to the LCD–lowest common denominator!

kevin: I don’t agree with all of MacDonald’s ideas about evolutionary psychology (specifically, how group selection could possibly act on the Jewish population as he claims it has). I also think his admittedly one-sided approach to studying Jewish history (“say nothing good about Jews, ever”) is unproductive. But hey, he’s got his thing and I’ve got mine.
I think the Occidental Observer is similarly unproductive (i.e., not getting anything done for Western civilization/white people), but if they want to talk about Jews, let them talk about Jews. They seem to be having fun.

I just happened to read the comment above. It’s a shame you deleted it, I might have gotten a few laughs out of it. Anyway, yeah, I love this blog.
Not to be politically correct, but it might be better to say that blacks are more aggressive instead of more “criminal” as the two things are somewhat different. Of course, this might just be a trivial matter of semantics, but it would certainly make it more palatable to someone who is still getting through that initial phase of disillusionment.
Also, aggression is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s a survival trait that just happens to be entirely unsuitable in contemporary civilized society. As to why blacks tend to exhibit undesirable phenotypes, I suppose that millennia of incessant tribal warfare rewarded aggression, ferociousness, and athletic ability at the expense of intelligence and productivity. While this might be a bit of a sweeping generalization it is not too hard to imagine that this sort of thing was fairly common, and in some regions of the world more than others.
I also think that it is worth noting that advanced societies DID emerge in West Africa, so it is not like these tendencies preclude the emergence of civilization entirely. It is just a genetic obstacle that one has to hurdle over and move on, but in order to do that, one has to first acknowledge that it exists and come to terms with it.
And just on a final note, the “legacy of slavery” argument is clearly bunk, but consider that slavery did dissociate enslaved Africans from the cultural traditions of their native lands and recast them as fourth-class citizens in a land dominated by Western culture, so whatever culture they might have had back in Africa has mostly been replaced by one that stinks of hatred and resentment towards whites, which only further exacerbates those aforementioned tendencies.
So in conclusion, it might mostly be genetics but culture has a lot to do with as well, considering that genetics shapes culture and vice versa, and so on.
Oh, and this thought just came to mind. You wrote in another blog post that West Africans make great sprinters whereas East Africans make good distance runners.
I’m not really a big military buff, but it seems to me that sprinting might be especially important when conducting an infantry charge. On the other hand, distance running seems to suggest superior stamina, which might be particularly useful when campaigning over long distances in the hot, dry desert climates of East Africa.
These seem especially important considering that it was probably almost impossible to field cavalry anywhere south of the Maghreb or Egypt due to biting insects, which kill horses, and relatively poor harvests in that region, which makes it hard to feed a large army.

Here are the main points I agree with: using “aggressive” instead of “criminal” (although I believe both are true, though different); the advantages of aggression; the emergence of a few civilizations comparable to those outside of Africa at the time; and the damage done to white and black Americans by slavery, or rather the way it was abolished and the aftermath handled.
I wonder, though, if the relatively recent incessant tribal warfare might have been caused by aggression, which in turn was caused by adaption to their environment (e.g., warm all year long, more predators, more diseases). Africa was, as I understand it, sparsely populated for most of history.

As you have clearly done a lot of reading about race and crime, I have a couple questions for you. First, do you know if any studies show how likely a black person is to be a victim of crime after location has been taken into account? (I’m thinking primarily here of the United States.) Basically, what I’m interested in is this: you’ve got a white man and a black man, both middle-class living in a middle-class neighborhood. Each has about the same amount of exposure to black people in their ordinary lives. Is one of them more likely to be a victim of black crime?
Second, do you know if there is any data on the proportion of blacks adopted by whites who commit crimes to blacks overall who commit crimes? I know the IQ data shows little environmental effect on IQ, but I’m curious what the environmental impact on crime is. (I suspect that it would be significantly greater, but I’m open to being proved wrong.)
What white America needs most vis-a-vis black America is a divorce. A complete divorce: Physical and political divorce. Move away from each other and be completely apart.
A nonwhite (half-Jewish, half-hispanic) registered Democrat (a member of Hussein Obama’s political party, no less) kills a young black. In response there is a weeks-long outpouring of black mouthing about “honkey”, “whitey”, “cracker”. What malicious crap. And then there are the attacks, (like in downtown Gainesville, Florida during the evening of April 11). We don’t need to continue living with them and being subjected to their pack attacks and attendant beatings, rapes and killings. And now they have a movement to effectively ban us defending ourselves when they attack us ( in Florida they want the “Stand-Your-Grouns statute repealed.) Lets just go our separate ways.
We – and the blacks who dislike us – really need to get together and agree on the need for a divorce. I mean we need to actually do it! Build a mass movement – millions and milions strong – to demand that the federal government allow this country to be broken into three countries: A purely white nation; a purely black nation; and one for those who want to live in a multi-racial society. Lets start talking about it to others and spread the idea. Tell it to others in person. Tell it in internet forums. Call in to talk radio shows and tell it. Lets light the fuse! Do not forget this idea! Spread it!
