The Camp of the Saints at Radish

Radish has a new issue on Jean Raspail’s prophetic novel The Camp of the Saints. I suggest NO ONE read it here, because they are thief-kitties.

The thing that is so disturbing about “The Camp of the Saints” is that when it came out it was a picture of a dystopian future. Read today, the novel seems to describe events which happened in the past: e.g., the destruction of the rule of white people in their own countries, whether South Africa, Europa or America.
Science fiction used to be about a future of rocketships and rayguns, set against gleaming alabaster cities. But the future we ended up with is more in line with “Blade Runner.”
I prefer Philip K. Dick anyway.
One of my favorite books, I first read it around 1981.
“camp of the saints” is prescient, but i found the following more exciting & readable: “turner diaries,” “hunter,” (both by Andrew MacDonald aka William Pierce), the dark whimsical satire “gods of color” by gunnar sinclaire, & anything written by radishmag aka unamusement park.
I will never understand why shit like Camp of the Saints is popular and the far more relevant Coelestis is forgotten.
Explain, Will?
