Stark Truth Interviews Unamusement Park

There’s a radio interview with, uh, “Richard Smith” over at the Stark Truth with Robert Stark on the Voice of Reason radio network.
Richard Smith is widely known and universally feared as the author of the race realist/ethnonationalist/cat enthusiast/secret Zionist/surrealist website Unamusement Park. He enjoys clam bakes, race wars, and French girls.
That would be moi.
The interview was just released; it’s dated June 25 because that’s when we recorded it. Topics covered include:
- hate crime hoaxes
- Project Vanquish
- white racism is dead, so let’s all stop talking about it
- European nationalism and moderate versus radical rhetoric
- miscegenation and “personal rankings of girls by ethnicity”
- racist game (yeah I said it)
We also talked about European-American civil rights activism on the rise, how awesome white supremacy is, George Zimmerman, minority rape, the SPLC, and some important things I’ve learned from commenters.

I just listened to your interview and was very impressed. I’m a little confused about your stance on liberal hypocrisy. I definitely agree with you that hardcore cultural marxists do not care about consistency, because they are just using words as weapons. However, I do think that your average person can be persuaded by these types of arguments. I also think that we whites have an opportunity right now and through the TM trial to wake up many whites using arguments about double standards. This is an issue that we can all raise in daily conversation with friends and family, because it is not a radical argument that questions egalitarianism. Basically, we can just argue that whites are people, too. Once you’ve got someone thinking of themselves as white, that opens up a “whole ‘nother can of worms” as Stark put it. Also, I believe that we need to create a sort of talking-points guide for whites trying to respond to anti-white arguments.

I think I did mention, somewhere in there, once, that normal people can be convinced by facts and reason and such [starting around 15:20]. And that, after all, is the whole point of Project Vanquish, not to mention my last such project, Flyers; both of those, I think, qualify as “talking-points guides.”

On the other hand, we cannot expect the real, ideological leftists to concede any point in a debate, no matter how irrefutable, and we always have to watch out for their Marxist tricks with language.
Your description of the use of charges of racism was interesting. Functionally, I agree completely that it is not a term actually meant to represent a coherent idea to be used in an honorable debate, though I’d suggest the reason for this is that the term is bound up in both identity and morality, which is why one can find so much hypocrisy in those who tend to use the term. We as humans generally are prone to ignoring our own flaws and hypocrisies while separating ourselves from groups we don’t like and for the most part, when the average English-speaker uses the term “racism” or “racist” as an epithet, they are engaging in social distancing with little regard for logical or categorical rigor, and while the term may have originated from Trotskyism (I don’t know, I haven’t done the research myself), it’s entered into mainstream Anglophone thought, such that one need not buy into other positions of the Left to consider it a valid way to categorize society into the morally clean (non-racists) and unclean (racists). Those that wield the term naturally put themselves in the former category.
Just heard it. I was so glad that you didn’t have a squeaky or effeminate voice! Excellent job Unamused, but you could’ve name-dropped the Gratuitous French Girl.

Good interview. I like your voice. Your sense of humor contrasts so much with the interviewer’s that it made the thing pretty funny, at least for me.

That is a good point, Reluctant Apostate. I guess I was talking specifically about debating leftists. When in conversation with normal people, well… rely on your wit and charm to nullify social distancing, I suppose.

Ironic Twist in Murder/Rape of Swedish Girl
This is an older story that completely slipped under my radar. Granted, my blog was not up at the time of this crime. But I don’t even recall ever hearing about it! But it is an important story and a cautionary tale. Thus I am posting it today. A little over a year ago a music video called “Mix it Up” (which I did hear about and watch.) was shot in Sweden. The whole premise of the video was that whites should sleep with non – whites. It was pure Miscegenation propaganda. The video itself is a topic worthy of an entire post. One of the “Stars”of the video was a pretty little blond Swedish girl named Elin Krantz. At one point in the video, Krantz can be seen writhing on top of a black male in mock sex while singing what I believe to be the Swedish National Anthem. You can see it in the video beginning around the 1:02 mark.
In a twist of sickening fate Elin Krantz was brutally raped, murdered and her body discarded like garbage by a black male who was riding the same train as her. I have seen the crime scene photos and they are sickening. I take zero pleasure in the fact that this poor girl departed this earth in one of the most horrible ways imaginable. But the irony here is not lost on me. If anything, Elin Krantz should be the poster child for the evil human sacrifice cult that is liberalism. A cult that is especially successful at brainwashing and sacrificing young white women to its God of Non – Discrimination.
[Unamused: This story is either a hoax or a misunderstanding, and it's been around for a number of years. The girl in the video (singing the national anthem while engaged in some... miscegenation) looks similar to Elin Krantz — white, blonde, and so on — but on closer inspection is a different person.
Elin Krantz, though, was a member of a Facebook group called, literally, "Diversity Is Strength" (I believe).]
Unamused’s voice and demeanor are way different than I had imagined. He comes across as rather serious and respectable, not the sort of race realist court jester he portrays himself to be on the blog.
But I had to stop listening after a few minutes because that interviewer is god awful. I mean truly truly horrible. This is now the 3rd interview of his I’ve listened to — one with Mangan and another with Chuck Ross (GLPiggy), so it’s not an anomaly.
Though I can’t put my finger on why I find him insufferable. He actually does a very good job of covering topics, but the extremely awkward pauses and his voice are just unbearable. He speaks either like he had a stroke or he’s on the autism spectrum (I’m assuming the latter).

you did an excellent job. be interviewed more, please:) i’m sure the techie aspects of the interview format (not being in the same room) made the interviewer seem less smooth (though enthusiastic:) he was like a mix of the onion’s autistic reporter with the earnestly awkward interviewer on the early “bright eyes” (c. oberst) album “fevers & mirrors.”
It should be possible, even easy for someone who is already atop the learning curve, to cut out the interviewer’s voice and leave only Unamused, J.A.Y., Dennis Mangan, whomever. Everyone Stark interviewed that I’ve heard is articulate and pretty self-directed; these aren’t “man on the street” they’re “rightist in his office” interviews.
@#9 TheInterviewer: same experience. Stark is unbearable to listen to, both in vocal quality and in ability to handle a flowing conversation.
Stark chewed and slurped his way through one show about a year back. I guess he did the interview during his lunch break.
I agree with everyone that the interviewer was not very good, but the interview was fun to listen to. Not a big fan of this “Richard Smith” pseudonym, it’s too pedestrian. You should just stick with “Unamused”. Unamused sounds dangerous and ironic at the same time. That captures the attitude of the blog.
You did a great job and your voice is just right for radio. I wish I had one like that. I think Robert needs to lighten up a bit on the hot Persian girls thing.

I agree with sofia re: your voice and, sadly, with TheInterviewer, re: the interviewer. You have an almost laconic way of speaking.
Agree with The Interviewer about the interviewer. He was, like, I mean, y’know, like, inarticulate.
I was a bit disappointed that, after saying initially that we should scrap the word “racist”, you yourself started flinging it about the 40-minute mark. I’m a racist, and proud of it. Racism is the beginning of wisdom. Own it.
Regarding the murder Elin Krantz:
Those so inclined can see ‘before’ and ‘after’ fotos of the victim here. As was said: discarded like garbage.
Warning: the ‘after’ foto is rather unpleasant.
Also, it now appears the suicide bomber who killed Israeli tourists in Bulgaria was Algerian, but living in Sweden (perhaps also a Swedish national), who’d spent time in Guantanamo before being sent back to Sweden, where he was turned loose.
But I don’t expect anything will change in Sweden; they’re in full national suicide mode there. On some web sites I visited, commenters seemed more worried the murder of Elin Krantz would send more voters to “far-right” parties.
Just to point out: Whether or not the girl in the aforementioned video is Elin Krantz affects only the “Ironic Twist” part of the previous post. Everything else one might mention — the at best curious, at worst sickening nature of the video, the sad reality of the (national) suicidal nature of Sweden’s immigration/asylum/refugee etc policies — is still valid.

Anyway this is probably not worth exploring any further but here goes. I agree with John Derbyshire disagreeing with me: “the word ['racist'], though of course horribly abused by the Left, probably does have some legitimate application.”
In theory, the word “racist” has a real and useful meaning, and there are actual “racists” out there; you may or may not be one of them, and that may or may not be a bad thing. I have previously tried to pin down just what the term is supposed to mean, as opposed to how people use it these days. The result of this labor was a bunch of complaining because “only a Marxist would use that word” — not that they mind when I write about anti-white “racism.”
So now I regret the whole project. Reclaiming “racist” is futile. The term is now used almost exclusively by leftists, even “moderate” ones, as a “Marxist attack word,” whether they realize it or not. I think we should treat it that way and not use it ourselves… even though it has legitimate uses.
That’s why in one part of the interview, which was recorded in two segments weeks apart, I use “racist” to describe some people who fit my real definition, and in the other part, I say we should never use it except as a joke.
Exactly, eah.

Yeah, well, I disagree with Derbyshire on a lot of issues. It seems to me that he is writing on a lot of conservative and race-realist blogs out of economic necessity, having been banished from his preferred territory, but without any conviction. In particular, when he writes that the belief that one race is superior to another is (a) nonsensical, and (b) morally problematic.
Having written that Africans and Australian aboriginals have never developed a civilization, he then adds this tripe:
“The question as to which races are or are not capable of generating civilizations is thus an open one. You can have an opinion about it, but you can’t have a well-founded opinion.”
Because, he says, they might still do it in the future. Never mind that, even when handed a ready-made civilization, they have been invariably incapable of maintaining it.
This is like arguing that, because there are men who have not died (you and I included), you can’t have a well-founded opinion about universal human mortality.
So, yes, I’m a racist, even including the “usually coupled” and “morally problematic” belief that some races are superior to others. Of course they are! And if they are, then there is nothing morally problematic about acknowledging the truth.
Awesome interview.
My definition of racism: Anything that involves human biodiversity/evolution, is offensive, and is at least partially based in truth.

Just became aware of this site through Jewamongyou. I was impressed by your demeanor in the VoR interview, and I like your fact-obsessed approach to blogging. The kitties are also a nice touch.
A question I have concerns the statistical significance of the black-on-white crimes that you and others have been documenting. It seems clear enough that there’s something sociologically noteworthy going on, but is there evidence of a commensurate increase in crime among blacks — something that measurably tracks the conspicuous increase in stories about “youth” attacks and flash mob scenes that turn up on YouTube? Are black crime stats actually trending at odds with the secular decrease in crime that’s been documented in recent decades? Or is this impression at least partially an artifact of social media outlets that expose events that would previously have been lost in the wash? I know that in Chicago crime is plotting upward — against national trends — and I assume that a fair chunk of this is racially conspicuous, but I have yet to see a disinterested statistical account of the big picture that would put the euphemistic headlines in perspective. Is this something that you — or others — have studied?

I love the moment around 4:40 where the text is “It’s unproductive to try to talk to them as if they were reasonable people,” and the picture is a sinkful of cats.
I too have difficulty remembering that cats will not be reasonable. I told the little one that if she was going to vomit, it would best not to do it right on her bowl. She just blinked at me. She’s obviously a conservative.
I listened to the whole thing. It’s fairly coherent; it sounds a little like half of a phone conversation but it’s always crystal-clear what Mr. Smith is talking about.
Also, the photo of the cat, the lever-action rifle, and The Road to Serfdom is excellent.

At this point, I have only anecdotal evidence that black-on-white crime is increasing, although that anecdotal evidence is fairly overwhelming.
I’m sure part of the apparent rise is an artifact of the new media, but I believe (on the basis of that anecdotal evidence) that part of it is a real trend in response to at least three things: (i) decades’ worth of accumulated anti-white propaganda, much of it directed at blacks, (ii) blacks’ growing awareness of the mainstream media’s policy of covering up their crimes and the government’s complicity in that cover-up, and (iii) the continued decline of black culture generally (ignorance, illegitimacy, and so on).
It’s hard to get accurate statistics on anything besides the overall black crime rate when the government’s figures use “white” to mean whites and almost all Hispanics.
