Last time on John Derbyshire Was Right, we focused on item 10h from Derbyshire’s infamous “The Talk: Nonblack Version”:

(10) [W]hile always attentive to the particular qualities of individuals, on the many occasions where you have nothing to guide you but knowledge of those mean differences, use statistical common sense:

(10h) Do not act the Good Samaritan to blacks in apparent distress, e.g., on the highway.

Items 10a through 10e proved somewhat controversial, too.

(10a) Avoid concentrations of blacks not all known to you personally.

(10b) Stay out of heavily black neighborhoods.

(10c) If planning a trip to a beach or amusement park at some date, find out whether it is likely to be swamped with blacks on that date (neglect of that one got me the closest I have ever gotten to death by gunshot).

(10d) Do not attend events likely to draw a lot of blacks.

(10e) If you are at some public event at which the number of blacks suddenly swells, leave as quickly as possible.

A second small sample of the hysterical responses

Technically, none of those words is a synonym for “incorrect” or “not based on facts” or “unlikely to actually save your children from future brutal attack by Black criminals.”

Gawker:

a shockingly racist article… a lot of tired racist stereotyping… horrifying diatribe

Nope, none of those words either.

Forbes:

Derbyshire is writing a piece specifically urging white people to engage in [the systematic profiling of blacks as criminals due to their race], among various other racist nonsense

Black people are much more likely to be violent criminals than White people. Black people are visually distinguishable from White people. We want to avoid violent criminals. (Don’t we?) Therefore, we should — hey, wait a minute. Why didn’t anybody tell me that Aristotelian logic is “racist nonsense”?

NY Daily News:

[G]iven that we’re but a month from the not-yet-resolved death of Trayvon Martin, is this really the best time to run such a piece, even in jest? I am not talking about sensitivity, but just ordinary human decency, the kind that conservatives are always claiming has been drained from contemporary society.

Why, yes. Yes, this is the best time to run such a piece, and certainly not in jest.

Remember: I am George Zimmerman.

The Atlantic:

To present himself as a cool social scientist, every single bullet point contains a link to some sort of source based in facts. … This is how he’s able to give the most dated racial stereotypes the veneer of respectability.

How dare he! To give “dated racial stereotypes” (i.e., facts about the races that are so obvious we’ve known them for centuries, but have recently become politically unfashionable) this, like, “veneer of respectability” (i.e., respectability) by backing up each of his points with “some sort of source based in facts” (i.e., some sort of source, based in facts) like some “cool social scientist” (i.e., like a politically unbiased social scientist).

“The one about not going to a theme park where there’s a ton of black people is a New York Times story from 1987,” the author scoffs, right before she brings out the word “dated.” She is attempting to trick you into thinking that all of Derbyshire’s sources are old, but this is actually the only one that is more than a few years old, and Derbyshire makes it very clear that he chose it specifically because he was there.

Leftists resort to lies when the truth isn’t on their side.

Why Derbyshire was right

Here’s another perfect example of why you shouldn’t “act the Good Samaritan to blacks in apparent distress.” From Peoria, Illinois: “Stranger returns kindness by robbing couple” (July 27, 2010).

A man and a woman who gave a ride to a stranger Monday afternoon were robbed of cash and ordered to drive their robber around town.

The victims, a 24-year-old Peoria man and a 19-year-old Peoria Heights woman, were outside Planned Parenthood, 705 NE Jefferson Ave., about 1:40 p.m. Monday when a man asked them for a ride.

The man, described as a black male, 6 feet 5 inches tall, 220 pounds and wearing a T-shirt, jeans and a red baseball cap, sat in the back seat of the vehicle and directed the driver where to go.

He then pulled out a gun and pointed it at the woman, who was sitting in the front passenger seat. He demanded money, and she gave him $250 cash, according to a report from the Peoria Police Department.

The robber eventually directed the vehicle to Molleck Drive near the Aspen Bluff Apartments, where he fled on foot. …

In this case, the Good Samaritans got off light: carjacked, robbed, but apparently unhurt. In this sort of Black crime, it is not at all unusual for the victims to be assaulted, tortured, raped, murdered, or all of the above.

Such violence is actually quite typical when the victims are White, which they usually are. In fact, the only reason to think these Good Samaritans weren’t White is that they weren’t injured or killed!

They offered a ride to a Black man they didn’t know, for crying out loud. Non-White people don’t feel the need to endanger themselves and the people they care about, because they lack the sense of racial guilt and paralyzing fear of being called “racist” that afflict White people today.

Peoria provides another reason Derbyshire was right

Therefore, John Derbyshire is basically a radioactive super-Hitler from space.

Anyway, in other, completely unrelated Peoria news: “Police, firefighters shot with fireworks at Taft Homes ‘riot’” (July 5, 2011).

A large-scale illegal fireworks display in a housing complex adjacent to the state’s largest Fourth of July celebration turned into what police termed a near-riot Monday as tens of thousands of revelers tried to filter out of Downtown.

As the grand finale of the Red, White and Boom! event exploded over the Illinois River, emergency responders were called at 9:46 p.m. to a trash bin fire in nearby Taft Homes, where commercial-grade fireworks had been shooting into the sky since before the riverfront show began.

A fire engine and two Peoria police officers responded, but encountered what police described as a crowd of hundreds of people and an impassable Hancock Street choked with trash and fireworks — both live and spent. The debris blocked access to the burning trash bin.

Police at that point began ordering the crowds to disperse, and firefighters hosed down the live fireworks and smoldering remnants of spent shells. That’s when mortar-type fireworks began firing toward and exploding near the officers and firefighters. Some people also hurled bottles and rocks, according to police.

Watch the video. All of those violent “revelers” throwing rocks and bottles and “mortar-type fireworks” at police and firefighters were Black. (Peoria itself is 25% Black.)

Oh, was I not supposed to notice that? What should I have done differently? With my eyes, I mean. What exactly do liberals like Alex Pareene (good) want conservatives like me (bad) to do when our eyes receive this information?

Someone please tell me, I’m f&^$ing dying to know.

Peoria provides yet another — holy s$%&, race war?

From Peoria yet again: “War Zone?” (June 25, 2011).

This is a reprint from the Peoria Chronicle’s web site. It was posted by CJ, the sites owner and written by Paul Wilkinson. Paul is the President of the Altamont Park Neighborhood Association. I know Paul and he is the most straight forward person I’ve met. He has no need to embellish or to lie. …

Tonight, around 11 p.m., a group of at least 60-70 African American youth marched down one of the side streets (W. Thrush) to the 4 lane main drag (Sheridan). They were yelling threats to white residents. Things such as we need to kill all the white people around here. They were physically intimidating anyone calling for help from the police. They were surrounding cars. Cars on the main drag had to slam on their brakes to either avoid the youth blocking not only all four lanes, but a large section of the side street as well. fights were breaking out among them. They were rushing residents who looked out their doors, going on to porches, yelling threats to people calling the police for help.

Cars were doing U turns on the streets just to avoid the mob, mostly male. One youth stated his grandfather was white and several assaulted him on the spot. One police officer answered the call. The youth split into two large groups, one heading north, the other south. They were also yelling racial threats to the police officer but he was outnumbered. Another police car did not show up until after the youth finally dispersed and the patty wagon (van) also eventually showed up.

Residents are very shaken, both black and white alike. This is the fifth large mob action in about a month with smaller groups of 10-12 are out threatening children and adults a few evenings a week or later into the night. The times vary, even occurring during the day. In talking to the police officer, they are short staffed. Residents were advised to simply keep inside and to lock their doors. In other words buckle down, it’s not even safe to sit on your porch or go into your yards.

John Derbyshire was right. Once more, with the proper emphasis: JOHN DERBYSHIRE WAS RIGHT.

His advice applies to everyone (White, Black, Asian, whatever), but especially to White people.

1. Avoid any large group of Black people you don’t know personally.
2. Stay out of heavily Black neighborhoods. (As if you needed to be told!)
3. Don’t go to the beach or an amusement park or any other public place or event if you think it will be full of Black people. (But you can still come to the Unamusement Park. I promise to protect you.)
4. If you do find yourself in a crowd of Black people, then get the f$*& out of there. No good can come of it.
