White racism is dead, part 3: that curious reticence

Race-baiting white-haters — or, to use their preferred name, “anti-racists” — devote enormous amounts of time to fabricating almost unimaginably vast and complex conspiracies of (systemic white) racism about which to complain (often very profitably). The subject of today’s post, for instance, describes racism — white racism, obviously — as nothing less than “a systemic, societal, institutional, omnipresent, and epistemologically embedded phenomenon that pervades every vestige of our reality.”
If racism is literally everywhere, why then are those few brave souls willing to oppose it — armed with nothing more than near-universal government, media and popular support — so reluctant, often comically so, to provide specific examples of said racism? Wherefore that curious reticence?
Contrast the “anti-racists” with… me! Unamused, the “racist” behind Unamusement Park. My primary goal is to promote white rights and white racial consciousness (e.g., white identity, white pride, and white separatism/nationalism). My primary method — besides composing reactionary musicals — is to expose anti-white and pro-black discrimination, whether by blacks or whites. See here, here, here, here, here, here and here for recent spectacular examples — the sort of example “anti-racists” can’t provide to back up their allegations of anti-black and pro-white racism.
Perhaps they’ve realized that their examples tend to fall apart under close scrutiny by skeptical minds, the kind we’ll bring to bear on their very favorite spurious allegations later in this series. Today, we have the easier yet more frustrating task of simply observing their frequent inability to cite any examples at all.
People of Color Organize! (PCO) describes itself as “a website journal and media source by organizers supporting critical thinking, strategic work and direct action for social, racial, and economic justice.” There are three articles there which I would like to bring to your attention, and I leave it to you to scour them for evidence of critical thinking or any form of justice, properly defined.
“White Racism, White Supremacy, White Privilege and the Social Construction of Race” (June 9, 2010)
The “social construction of race”? My expectations could not be lower. As we should all know by now, race is genetic, not just social or cultural or “skin deep.” Anyone who disagrees is, without exception, either ignorant or a liar. Indeed, modern (i.e., Marxist) liberalism is fundamentally based on ignorance and denial of human nature (including the reality of race), i.e., the “blank slate” myth.
“White Racism, White Supremacy, White Privilege and the Social Construction of Race,” by Omowale Akintunde (Chair of the “Department of Black Studies” at the University of Nebraska at Omaha), begins by attempting to describe “[white] racism,” but accidentally describes the author’s (black) racial paranoia instead:
Racism is a systemic, societal, institutional, omnipresent, and epistemologically embedded phenomenon that pervades every vestige of our reality.
For a real academic studying a real subject in a real department, such a claim would necessarily be accompanied by documentation; for Omowale Akintunde, studying “white racism” in the “Department of Black Studies,” it’s an excuse not to provide any. We can see why in the next sentence:
For most whites, however, racism is like murder: the concept exists but someone has to commit it in order for it to happen.
Those awful, awful whites — thinking that someone has to be racist (i.e., has to discriminate racially in his actions, words or even thoughts) for racism to exist. This “limited view,” the author claims, is not merely incorrect — for daring to demand evidence of racism to justify the continued handouts for blacks, including racial preferences in hiring and firing, college admissions, media coverage, racial discourse generally, the criminal justice system, the division of electoral districts, etc. — not only that, it actually “cultivates the sinister nature of racism,” among other similarly vague consequences; that is, a white person, believing that someone has to be racist for racism to exist, makes racism itself (that systemic, societal, institutional, omnipresent, epistemologically embedded, vestige-pervading thing) more evil.
Another problem with whites’ “limited view” (that if racism exists, there ought to be some evidence of it), according to Akintunde, is that it permits them to think that they aren’t racist:
… if racism is conceived of as the conscious employment of certain acts, using certain taboo terms (i.e., nigger, spic) and one does not consciously perform “racist” acts or utter certain taboo terms, then one can reasonably assert that one is not a racist.
Reasonable indeed, but he can’t allow whites to doubt their guilt for even a second, or the handouts might stop. Hence Akintunde’s attack on the premise: racism isn’t something you do or say or think, but rather a phenomenon that exists in our society and institutions, embedded in our epistemology, pervading “every vestige of our reality,” and so on — even if you never see or hear it.
Yet another problem with whites’ crazy notion of racism: it implies that non-whites can be racist, too!
If racism is perceived as… having to be consciously chosen and enacted to become concrete reality then racism in theory can be practiced by anyone. That is, “non-Whites,” too, may engage in practicing racism and thus Whites themselves may be victims of racism.
That, too, simply will not stand.
One wonders, how can Akintunde know that racism, that “system of White supremacy,” still exists? Wouldn’t his evidence necessarily involve someone, somewhere, at some point in history, doing or saying or thinking something racist? It would. Thus Akintunde’s definition makes racism impossible to prove or disprove. Fortunately for him, everyone just assumes that “racism,” by some definition, exists. If you press them for evidence, they revert to the “limited view” of racism; if you challenge that evidence, well, that was never the real definition of “racism” anyway, so no matter. The assumption that “racism” of some kind exists, remains untouched.
“10 Conversations On Racism I’m Sick Of Having With White People” (April 21, 2011)
This is where my investigations into PCO began: an article by an extraordinarily irrational and angry black homosexual known only as “Neo-Prodigy,” and accompanied by a photo of a (frankly hideous) scowling black woman, on the subject of “10 conversations that I would be happy never to have with white peepul [sic] ever, ever, ever again.”
The seventh conversation: “Prove It To Me.” The entire premise of this section is that so many white people have asked the author for proof that (systemic white) racism exists, he now refuses to provide any proof. Convenient. If you choose to read the entire section, which I do not recommend, bear in mind that his stupendous rage is directed at a hypothetical “conservative” white person who dares to ask for proof of the existence of racism — the sole justification for the aforementioned racial preferences (for blacks over whites) in hiring and firing, college admissions, media coverage, racial discourse generally, the criminal justice system, the division of electoral districts, etc.
A common ploy by conservative white people. Whenever racism is brought up and POCs share their perspective and their experiences, they demand proof. They like to set themselves up as Judge and God and we have the burden of proof. “Prove to me that racism is real. Convince me. And if I don’t believe it, then it didn’t happen and it’s all in your head.”
Well, yes. That is how argumentation works. You, “Neo-Prodigy,” have the burden of proof. If your evidence isn’t convincing, then your opponents can and must conclude that “it didn’t happen and it’s all in your head.” And that’s my conclusion, as Neo-Prodigy does not provide any evidence of racism in this section, which is to be expected, as its sole purpose is to excuse his inability to do so. Instead, he briefly alludes to “facts, figures” and “statistics,” before raging on.
The author’s distortion of reality to fit his prejudices makes for painful reading. In his mind, to refuse to provide any evidence of racism is to “deem yourself their equal and not play their game of white supremacy circle jerk.” The white conservative people respond to his refusal to answer by “having a conniption” — how would the author describe his own reaction to the mere question? The opinion of a black homosexual: automatically valid. The opinion of a conservative white person: “whatever bass ackwards [sic] idea they’ve pulled from their rectum.”
He will not “waste [his] time on them” by providing any justification at all for his palpable hatred of whites, or his demand for even more racial preferences and “anti-racism,” including more TV dramas featuring blacks (regardless of what audiences want), more commercials featuring interracial couples (regardless of the realities of miscegenation), even less policing of black and Hispanic crime, and — bizarrely — an end to mythical “hateful racist mobs” attacking “Arabs and Muslims” —
— except he will provide a justification, sort of: his sarcastic assertion that “in the near three decades I’ve lived on this planet, … being a black gay man in the South, I’ve never come across any opposition regarding my orientation or my race and have had to defend myself.” Thus, the closest Neo-Prodigy comes to providing evidence for the kind of racism that would justify all the aforementioned nonsense is to sarcastically imply that black homosexuals have a tough time in the South. Someone who has had this conversation so many times that he’s grown sick of it really ought to be able to do better than that.
In response to the “common” rebuttal that Neo-Prodigy just has “a problem with [conservative whites'] political beliefs,” which he evidently does, he writes: “Asshole, I’m not a political view, I’m a goddamn human being.” Utterly meaningless.
Writes the furious black homosexual (my emphasis): “And fuck you for getting mad and taking exception to the fact that I have problem with someone believing I should be discriminated against.” Note that according to Neo-Prodigy, anyone who questions the existence of systemic white racism must believe that blacks “should be discriminated against.”
Writes the man who will brook no disagreement: “And if you have a problem with my contention with said issue, then it’s YOU who can’t agree with someone who disagrees with YOU!” Er, that’s not quite how it works.
In conclusion: “But this goes back to our bodies, minds, and our times not belonging to us any longer.” Does it? Does it really go back to that?
What a clown.

This rant by “IKONOCLAST,” a self-proclaimed “African Internationalist,” is directed at white people who dared to disagree with Neo-Prodigy’s attack on white people who dared to disagree with him regarding the existence of (systemic white) racism. All of the former white people’s comments have since been deleted, so we’ll never know exactly what provoked IKONOCLAST, who is even angrier and less rational than Neo-Prodigy; his hatred of white people, even more palpable.
In response to the most popular blog post we have ever had, 10 Conversations On Racism I’m Sick Of Having With White People; I would just like to say to all those arrogant white folks stay away from this site.

Very interesting. The workings of IKONOCLAST’s mind, that is: he’s wrong to the point of insanity. First, whites are quite obsessed with rectifying black suffering, which blacks bring on themselves, by virtue of their proven violent, unintelligent, immoral nature. That is, blacks around the world are (a) killing each other, and (b) dying because, for example, they don’t know how to dig wells, or even that filthy water carries diseases, which cannot be cured by having sex with babies or virgins or animals, or by dismembering and eating Pygmies or albinos, or by any of the other charming practices of Africans. Second, “Africans” (by which he means blacks) are by far the most racist people alive; in Africa and America alike, they constantly attack whites out of pure racial hatred. Endless evidence is available on request, but start with the list of links in this post.
I mean really all this whoopla [sic] over some white folks hurt feelings. No comments on Congo, no comments on African genocide, but comments on hurt white feelings.
Note that all African genocides, whether against Africans or their white saviors, are perpetrated by Africans, and as for the Congo — well, I for one am outraged by the Japanese and Australian and Icelandic people who, as recently as 2003, were hunting and eating Pygmies as if they were game animals! Oh, wait. Those were African savages too. Silly me.

According to 60 percent of Jamaicans, a colonized black person feels a heck of a lot better than a non-colonized one. In “Were blacks better off under apartheid?” (via One Radical), black economist Walter Williams goes even further:
The tragic fact of business is that ordinary Africans were better off under colonialism. Colonial masters never committed anything near the murder and genocide seen under black rule in Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Nigeria, Mozambique, Somalia and other countries, where millions of blacks have been slaughtered in unspeakable ways, which include: hacking to death, boiling in oil, setting on fire and dismemberment. If as many elephants, zebras and lions had been as ruthlessly slaughtered, the world’s leftists would be in a tizzy.

Kenny says that whites treat blacks like animals. When a dog misbehaves, we don’t blame the dog — we blame the owner for improper training. In Africa, when blacks behave badly, Kenny says colonialism, imperialism, apartheid, globalization or multi-nationalism is blamed for not bringing up blacks properly. Liberals saw South Africa’s apartheid and other human-rights abuses as unjust because blacks were suffering at the hands of whites. They hold whites accountable to civilized standards of behavior. Blacks are not held to civilized standards of behavior. From the liberal’s point of view, it might even be racist to expect blacks to adhere to civilized standards of behavior.
So now you know how every colonized black person should feel: profoundly grateful for the white man, his savior, who raised him out of barbarism and squalor and into the light of Western (meaning white) civilization. That includes Akintunde, Neo-Prodigy, and IKONOCLAST, as well as Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, Eric Holder, and Barack Obama, to name just a few. Where’s the gratitude? IKONOCLAST, I expect a prompt thank-you note to the white race. We’ve earned it.
Conversely, as Jared Taylor so astutely observed in “Africa in Our Midst”:
When blacks are left entirely to their own devices, Western Civilization — any kind of civilization — disappears.
Not that IKONOCLAST would know, living in a white nation. Perhaps he should go back to Africa and find out?

I think a similar article was written by Walter Williams that showed a majority of South African blacks said they lived better under apartheid.

Unamused, I appreciate your dedication to your research, but really, such self-sacrifice is unnecessary. No rational human expects to find anything of value in those negroes’ ramblings, and once you’ve exposed them, no rational human thinks that they merit any refutation at all. They are self-evidently crap. You just demean yourself by giving them any attention at all.
It’s the Planet of the Apes, there. Just ignore them.
This isn’t a hard riddle, Unamused. As long as there is at least one white person on this Earth consuming oxygen, there is racism. And once we’re extinct, the very fact that at least one of us existed at all and consumed oxygen will be blamed for the racism to explain the constant non-white failure that will persist in our absence.

Logic and reason are good things to have. But the best device is to be able to force the other man to accept your POV. That is the situation that every white is in right now. We either knuckle under or we take these terrific risks with our person, our career and family. Most of us would lose our careers if we did this in public.
So we use logic until we get the numbers. You use reason for the middle classes and emotion for the lower classes. We have to accept as the situation grows worse our numbers will grow but our enemies will be emboldened.

Disparities, see? According to the Injustice Department, that’s prima facie evidence of discrimination.
Which illuminates countenance’s insight. Africans were the most successful species in Africa for millennia. Then the White man arrived, devised a written language for them, taught them to wear clothes and ride a bicycle and generally to function in a civilized society. Suddenly, they were failures. You see, they’re only failures relative to every human population.
The very existence of White people ensures that negroes will always suffer from disparate impact; in other words, will always fail in comparison. Whites don’t have to do anything to be racist. Being superior is racist.
While this is true from a utilitarian perspective, it still can’t be denied that whites were unduly oppressive. I put it like this: imagine there’s a child in a home where it is beaten and molested daily. Then it’s removed from this horrible household and put in a foster home where it’s beaten and molested, but only weekly. Of course this is better from a utilitarian perspective, but the foster parents still have some apologizing to do. I’m not saying whites have apologizing left to do to blacks, but I am saying the history can’t be seen as a totally positive thing for blacks. I know you don’t believe it is like this, but that passage certainly reads like that.

I think perhaps the best metaphor for whites is a foster home where the child is never molested; never struck without perceived cause; punished too severely at times, in retrospect, but of course hindsight is 20-20; and treated well overall. Furthermore, the foster parents suffered greatly (and voluntarily) for the sake of their child, who would have otherwise led a short, miserable life.
I think profound gratitude would be an appropriate reaction, compared to which any lingering resentment ought to be insignificant.

Another interesting dynamic that I wish braindead white liberals would take notice of, but won’t, is that they get no love from blacks for their anti-white agitation. In a post about Tim Wise and how basically, he “ain’t all that,” here is what one, presumably black poster had to say:

Brilliant article, i also read the “10 Conversations On Racism I’m Sick Of Having With White People | People Of Color Organize!” I think that everything you posted is fairly justifiable by their lack of reasoning. I hate when blacks just assume that a white person is racist because we are white (of course). But there are never any black racists, they are just “blacks being oppressed”, or “blacks fighting the white man”. I think that everyone needs to just open their eyes, theres no more slavery and we have thousands of new children being born into this world everyday, the only way that racism will continue is if people like this continue it, and tell their children about “how bad the white people are” and “how much we want to throw them in jail.”
