Hope for Chicago: furious white people

This is an unusual post, in that I’m going to let readers do most of the talking. To be precise: readers of NBC Chicago’s local news.
Recently, I covered Chicago’s wave of black mob violence in early June, and how the media tried to justify censoring race. Mainly by shaming whites for daring to notice black people behaving badly, as it turns out. Yesterday, I thought it was safe to move on to black mob violence in another city.
Apparently I was wrong.
Today (Tuesday, June 28), NBC Chicago ran a story with the intriguing title “Woman Believes Beach Violence Covered Up” (with video). It’s awfully popular for local news. The day’s second most-read local story, “Lura Lynn Died With Ryan By Her Side,” currently boasts 16 comments and 111 Facebook recommendations, but 0 Tweets. “Woman Believes Beach Violence Covered Up,” on the other hand, has 80 comments, 350 recommendations, and 103 Tweets, and those numbers are steadily rising. According to NBC’s clever little emotional response meter, 92 percent of readers are “furious.”
Gee guys, what’s all the fuss about?
The complaint
On Memorial Day Weekend (May 28–29), Chicago resident Amy Schwartz called 911 with this complaint:
There’s a fight breaking out on the beach because there’s nothing but animals covering this beach today. What the hell is going on?
So what the hell was going on? According to NBC Chicago (June 28),
Schwartz said she was walking from Oak Street Beach toward North Avenue Beach on Memorial Day when she witnessed a woman being beaten by a gang of people on the beach.
“They were being rude and abusive and throwing trash around and defecating,” Schwartz said. “The crowd became very animated. They were cheering on the beating and more people joined in, so I kept walking forward. I was afraid I could be next.”
Confirmed cases of attacking packs of blacks were reported just a few days later. It raises an interesting question: did police close the beach because of yet another black mob?
No. They did it because it was sooooooo hot (NBC, June 28).
Both [Police Superintendent] Garry McCarthy and [Mayor] Rahm Emanuel have said the people suffering from heat exhaustion was the only reason for closing the beach. A city spokesman says the violence calls were handled promptly, and deny there’s any attempt to spin the facts.

“There were other calls that I heard on the tapes reporting the same incident I saw,” Schwartz said. …
Police presence has been boosted significantly at the beach since Memorial Day.
Here’s a map of the walk Ms. Schwarz was taking when she witnessed the alleged violence. Not far from her starting point, to the south and southeast, you’ll find the 300 block of East Chicago Avenue, the 700 block of North Lake Shore Drive, and the bike path just south of Chicago Avenue. Why are these locations of interest? Because that’s where a mob of 15–20 black teenagers beat up and robbed a 33-year-old white insurance salesman; a 68-year-old oncologist, Dr. Jack Singer (race censored); a 42-year-old Japanese oncologist; 20-year-old bicyclist Ryan Dacumos (race censored); and one more victim about whom little has been reported (CBS, June 5; Chicago Tribune, June 6).
The reaction
The comments section is interesting, to say the least. Am I crazy, or are these real people logged in to their real Facebook accounts, saying things like this, from Joe Flynn:
The City of Chicago has a long standing policy of covering up hate crimes commited on whites. The City is terrified that if the whites ever knew how much they were being attacked due to there race that they would flee the City leaving Chicago Like Detroit, Michigan or Gary, Indianna. Lets all not forget all the white kids getting attacked at Kennedy high school & during one of the mini riots that the black kids tried to take a police officers fire arm when he was wrestling a kid down. Why has the media been so gun shy over the last twenty years and will not say the color of a criminal that is being sought after. Wake up. …
Monroe Anderson (who is black) objects:
Where are you coming uo with this idiotic dribble? As a result of high unemployment [provably false], bad schools [provably false] and the War on Drugs [???], crime is rappant in far too many parts of the black community. When it spills over into areas where whites are, or should whites happen to wander into the middle of it, it’s not a hate crime, it’s a crime of opportunity [false and falser]. More than 90 percent of the victims of black crime are black people [provably false; 54–55 percent of the victims of violent Black crime, not including murder, are white, though no one seems to know this]. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you’re writing out of ignorance [lol] and not racism.
Oh no! A race denialist rears its hideous head! Unamusement Park leaps into the fray to smite the — hey, wait a minute. Somebody already smote the shit out of that guy. Several somebodies, in fact.
Joe Morris, for instance, seems to think the word “racism” is meaningless:

Maurice Moshe Eisenstein, Associate Professor of Political Science at Purdue University Calumet, has clearly been following the news with a critical eye:
Whites are not going over to beat whites; but blacks are out to beat up and kill whites. It is the new summer entertainment.
Peter York of California State University latches on to one detail in particular:
Defecating? Blacks are defecating in their neighborhoods? It’s obviously a ‘Lord of the Flies’ kind of tribal psychosis…see, every child is a barbaric savage who must be civilized. They scream, they grab food off others’ plates, they won’t bathe, etc. Thanks to fatherless parenting, we’re up to our armpits in savages who were never civilized. That goes for all people, of course, but do you really want to defend the flash mobs in Philly, Chi, etc, the sideshows in Oakland?
Joe Ferra of Tampa, Florida doesn’t buy the “crimes of opportunity” narrative:
Sorry, as much as I wish it were true that this was a crime of opportunity rather than black on white racism the facts just don’t reflect that opinion. When racial epithets are thrown at the victims and the mob of one race attack individuals of another race you have to be either very naive or an apologist for the racism of your preference. …
Carla Rogers Williams, account manager at “Mindshare Group,” won’t stand for victim blaming:

Jeffrey Shultz, a “Top Commenter” (whatever that means), has an interesting question I myself may have posed once or twice before:
Hey, Monroe… Why is it that “as a result of high unemployment, bad schools and the War on Drugs, crime is rampant in far too many parts of the black community” and not the “white community” or the “Asian community” or the “Jewish community”? Jeff Stanch, a realtor, has a parsimonious explanation for black failure:

Harry Bertram, of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Union Local 370, is treading dangerously close to white racial consciousness territory:

It’s all what Obama has taught and organized his African “communty” to do ever since he fell in with ACORN, Bill Ayers, Saul Alinsky, the NBPP, [Louis] Farrakhan [leader of the Nation of Islam, which is based in Chicago], and so on.
Michael Connerth has noticed something about race in the media:
AGAIN, race is not mentioned so now we know that a white female was beaten by a group of blacks.
These are not anonymous neo-Nazis posting on Stormfront or the Vanguard News Network (no offense to the anonymous neo-Nazis). These appear to be ordinary people who have simply had enough of Black-Run America.

It was very irresponsible for the police to say they closed the beach due to heat. Because if people just go by what the police say they won’t know to avoid the beach, the police should have said the beach can be a bit dangerous.
I’ll make my usual comments:
1) Good for you for reporting this sort of thing and more importantly, providing some thoughtful analysis.
2) The Internet is becoming a form of “insurgent” media for people fed up with the liberal media. Look at how alternative means of communication have led to mass based movements throughout the world, for better or worse (think Tunisia). If this can destroy the credibility of the liberal media, more power to the Internet.
3) Is there a political aspect to these crimes? Are they being committed deliberately as a form of political violence against whites? How much of this is being motivated by liberals and race hustlers telling the black underclass that they are “oppressed” by “white privilege”? And then sitting back while that underclass does the dirty work?
4) Is there a large clash of civilizations at work here? Multiculturalism promotes ethnic identity over patriotism. Blacks are pitted against whites. One suspects that it is the liberal establishment which gains the most. Certainly these attacks will be used as a justification for more welfare programs and social engineering.
5) But…there may be a backlash. This is why it is vital to provide an intelligent alternative to the liberal narrative. There could be some mobilization via the Internet, social media, texting, etc., for mutual defense. Just as critically, alternative media can expand with truthful reporting about all this.
6) And there is the trans-national aspect to this. White peoples in Zimbabwe-rainbow-nation-South-Africa are experiencing similar attacks. How about learning from their experiences, and providing mutual aid?
7) Keep up the good work!
Blacks are 12% of the population, and declined 0.9% over the past decade. Mexicans don’t like them, the Azusa 13 Gang in the LA County area was indicted on hundreds of counts of hate crimes, intimidation, etc. aimed at driving out Blacks. Blacks have little money, and little representation in the Military, the Police, and so on. All they have is the offices of the President and Attorney General.
If this is a coordinated effort, it is monumentally stupid. It has likely already mobilized both ordinary property holders (who can’t just up and flee), small shop owners (same), and big REITs (who have literally billions in fixed assets they cannot sell, dump, and flee). Let’s see, REIT money, plus big time individual developers like Philip Anschutz or Ed Roski or Eli Roth, plus small property holders and shop owners? Yes that’s EXACTLY the political coalition that administers a back-lash beat-down.
What makes people motivated, angry, and intense? Fear of losing everything they own. For small property and shop owners, its self explanatory. But guys like Broad, Roski, and Anschutz have lots of skin in the game too. So does Jerry Jones. If people are scared to come out to his ballpark, because of Black riots, how is he going to make his note payments on the billion plus Jones-Mahal? [Particularly given the lockout, he can stage say motocross or other events, but not if people are scared to come out.]
Re backups:
Where do we meet up in the meantime if Unamusement Park disappears? I expect half the blogroll will quickly get “what happened to Unamused” in their comment section, but it strikes me that some kind of buddy system in case of takedowns would be nice so we can coordinate and share information. Maybe ask OneSTDV or SPBDL to host a guest post, too? As an interim measure, it seems easier and faster than setting up another website.

I was one of the posters on the NBC board. I knew about the beach closing cover up for a while, as well as the flash mobs going on in Chicago. WHen I read that particular article and saw some of the comments I decided to add my own. When I realized that I was posting under my own name at first I was worried, but realized I wasn’t saying anything radical.
I think that’s what most people were doing, most people say this stuff in private, and when Monroe tried to use the race card to shut people up I think enough of us just had enough and said what we needed to say.
And, personally, I think we’re so screwed anyway it doesn’t matter. The left wing has such a control on the media and entertainment industry we’ll be seeing more of these kristalnacht type scenarios. Basically we’re being told not to worry about millions of illegals sucking up resources and taking jobs sending money back south of the border, not to worry about us getting into 2 more wars, told not to worry about hte only new jobs are at McDonals. We’re being set up to be comfortable living like depentents, happy to have foodstamps and public housing.
Enough people realize now when the media doesn’t mention race who is to blame. THey always mention it’s a white person, for example.
I encourage people to read ALL the replies to Monroe Anderson’s fatuous posting. Almost every one of the respondents takes a good solid dump on him. You can feel the “we’ve had it up to here” exasperation coming through. Poor Monroe won’t know what hit him when he gets out of bed later today and logs in…

But it isn’t “Black-Run America.” Blacks aren’t running things. They didn’t foresee and built these conditions. They are just part of the building material. To echo Alex Linder, they are a known element, and when they commit crimes it won’t do to focus on the particular criminal act. It even falls short to observe the crime trend and demographic. The focus has to be on those who built and maintained the system with precisely the intention of creating conditions that are poor, violent, and unstable for the white majority.

god, do i hate people who start taking this line of rhetoric. we have justice, truth, and fairness on our side. the absolute worst thing we can do is start amping up the crazy and drive people away.
all that we need is to continue to calmly lay out ‘hate facts’ for everyone to see. the tide is already starting to turn, don’t be the type to reverse that progress through calling for violence.
don’t underestimate the power of ideas, facts, pictures, and images. they may not be as dramatic as physical violence, but are far more effective with much lower risk of backlash.

It really is encouraging to see those reactions among Whites. The best part is, that not only are they expressing anger at the beatings themselves, but their taking on of the media and refusing to let stand the usual shaming of White fear/excusing of Black crime.

Well if you mean “there are jews at the top running things”. Sure that’s true. There are also Christians at the top running things. As a Pagan I have plenty of experience with monocultists who keep putting we pagans in the middle of their arguments.

AHH! Ok well that’s reasonable. Especially considering SCOTUS (or was it a lower court?) just ruled that employment background checks for online activity are allowable and can go back seven years.

I’ve long said that it appears the government intends to put righteous men in prison, while letting the wicked out.
Evidence of this occurs in rape (as one example) all of the time. How often is a violent criminal convicted of ACTUAL rape (now called “rape rape”) and yet is let loose on society? Indeed very often these criminals will have beaten several women or children, and committed the most horrific of crimes. But, let’s let him go.
Then along comes a woman CLAIMING a man raped her, perhaps they were long time lovers and she claims he just up and decided out of no where to rape her, perhaps she and he both met at a bar and were both drunk, perhaps she claims PLAINLY AND SERIOUSLY that SHE CONSENTED but OTHERS call it rape. In any case, the man is arrested, life ruined, has a criminal record EVEN IF NOT CONVICTED (fact).

Lynchings, for example, were in almost case just extrajudicial capital punishment for three crimes: murder, rape, or insurrection. In short, the “victims” of lynching generally deserved to die. That’s why both Blacks and Whites were lynched, and both Blacks and Whites were involved in these executions. The reason so many Blacks were lynched is that Blacks in the past, like Blacks today, committed murder and rape at much, much higher rates than Whites.
And let’s not forget that Whites have given Blacks everything. If it wasn’t for Whites, Blacks would still be living in the Stone Age. Where’s the gratitude? Black Americans should get down on their knees and thank God for slavery, because their ancestors being enslaved by their fellow Africans and shipped to America was literally the best thing that ever happened to them.
