   That’s actually my old stompin grounds. I used to stay up at 69th and Euclid, and spent more than a bit of time in Coventry. BDSMongolian Barbeque..yum!

   And I hate to break it to you unamused…no one reads cleveland.com.

   In any case I also lived at Harbor Crest for a year. One night the parking lot was suddenly packed with hundreds of people. The po-po had to come and boot everyone out. Even folks that lived in the building weren’t allowed in until the thing calmed down. I was overlookin’ from the top floors. No fights or violence as far as I know but a heluvalotta people.

   Well, someone is reading it, and commenting too (until they shut the comments down). I think that site was the first to break the story, and I haven’t seen much coverage elsewhere yet.

   Notice though that any of the comments mentioning race are redacted? But those ANSWERING the ones who mentioned race remain intact. This provides the reader with a mistaken understanding of what the redacted commenter ACTUALLY said.

   But yes here in Cleveland you can find other sources of info besides cleveland.com. LOTS of local blogs.

   One commenter tried to say there was NO violence… the fox video itself showed hordes of “teens” packed into one store. It was ridiculous. Another commenter mentioned that she saw a fight start… so yeah there was violence. Just how much, who knows. Cleveland.com’s unlikely to fill us in on the facts, but do they ever really?

   The bottom line is that the Media can continue to whitewash/blackout coverage of the race-riots/beatings, but if people are too scared to come to work, or rent luxury condos, or come out to downtown ballparks, and end up … moving to the suburbs? Well then literally hundreds of billions of dollars in each major city is at stake. And things will change rapidly. See Dinkins, David, ex-mayor of DC.

   Cleveland is a zombie city. A walking dead city. No major new ballpark, no big shiny downtown filled with Apple Stores, Fortune 500 companies, and glittery shops. No big-time SWPL night-life. No art galleries, hipsters, and celebrities. Same for Detroit, Birmingham, Newark, and Philly. So what happens there does not matter.

   What happens in Chicago (literally trillions of property investments at stake) or NYC (same) or Atlanta or Dallas or Fort Worth or Boston is another thing. Can you imagine what would happen if people started seriously affecting REIT cash-flows by dumping their condos/apartments, and the market price started to reflect living in a war-zone with periodic Black mob riots? Mayors Emmanuel and Bloomberg are probably getting screamed at right now by CEOs of publicly traded REITs that own shopping malls, luxury condos, office towers, all of which generate healthy cash ONLY if the market supports it, and are under stress already. A REIT cannot pack up and leave like Sears, or Boeing. They’re stuck with billions in assets on their balance sheets they cannot unload.

   Hence a desperate rear-guard “no problems here” action, followed by doing whatever it takes to protect sunk costs. Big property money abandoned Cleveland by 1960, basically. Detroit about the same. They were small, unimportant, writing on the wall. Abandon Chicago? That’s bankruptcy time. Same if cash flow reduces by say, 20% which if the Black mobs go on longer is dead certain. So the smart bet is these get crushed soon.

   You can tell the vitality of a city by a couple of metrics. If its got a number of Apple Stores, a big fancy new NFL or MLB stadium, and lots of luxury apartments and condos, there’s money around in property. And hence a vigorous defense of the value of that property.

   Cleveland and Detroit and Baltimore and Philly are lost causes. Just look at how much local elites invested in stadiums and how many stores Apple built. Meanwhile Jerry Jones poured a billion into his stadium, and places like Fenway, or Wrigley, or Yankee Stadium have been revamped or totally rebuilt. That investment is at existential risk if Black mobs turn the places into no-go zones for Whites. This just in … poor Blacks don’t have money and don’t spend on things to make debt payments for fancy new ball parks. Or luxury condos. Or fancy new office buildings.

    It is probably too late to revive the distinction between rational and irrational discrimination. “Discrimination” has taken on the meaning once reserved for irrational discrimination. “Rational selection” is probably a better phrase to use now.

    For every major event in a majority Black city (or with a sizable Black population) those of us who follow these stories can utilize Twitter to gauge how Black people are using social media to plan attacks.

    Independence Day (fireworks) will be important to follow; or any Black cultural event as well.

My first job out of college had me working closely with one of the largest in the country (this group owned property all across the nation) and I learned a lot about what these investors are looking at in terms of profitable investments.

    The Coventry Art Festival will be shut down just like The Old World Festival was lost due to these “teens.” We all know what’s happening, and no one of any authority will touch the issue.

    When will everyone wake up? How much more will we have to watch get destroyed/ cancelled/ ruined by these vibrant mobs of diversity? Someone should start a list of the true cost of BRA:

    I can’t stand it when people use the term “happens to be black” or happens to be whatever. It connotes a cowardliness in the writer, and this writer does it continually. And while I’m the last person on earth to defend people of other races, imagine how underhandedly degrading it is to have someone of another race refer to you in that way. It implies that there is something inherently wrong with you, something that the writer is making a repeated point of ignoring. There may very well be something wrong with your people, but who in the heck is the writer to imply that he is your superior and needs to make note of you that way?

    Whiskey, I can agree with some of your points, but you are way off on the stadium issue in regards to these cities. These cities all might be lost causes, but all have nice, relatively new facilities for both football and baseball.

    Yes Baltimore’s Camden Yard is 20 years old, but it still set the standard for the modern park and is a great facility. Bottom line all those cities you mention have football and baseball facilities that are around 15 years old or less. That is pretty impressive.

    Look for other reasons for their decline. It sure as heck isn’t a lack of good sports facilities.

    Frankly I could point out as a Pagan that the weakening of social structures was due entirely to Christianity. It is what started to give us ideals that people could be equal, that people are entitled to things (like salvation) even while claiming that they were not, that women and men were/are the same in God’s eyes and so on.

    This kind of thing would never have happened in ancient Pagan Rome. Of course the Romans wouldn’t have called themselves Pagan, they reserved that word for scum, and included among them, weak whiney Christians.

    Look, NO ONE is saying there are not Jews in power. The power of those Jews in power (who mostly really AREN’T Jews any more than most Christians in power are really Christians) does nothing to impact the vast majority of Jews who aren’t part of the power systems.

    No, the mobs have no stated goals. This is not an organized movement; it’s just a bunch of black people (who are no doubt aware of other black people doing the same thing) deciding to gather at a festival, or a celebration, or just because someone sent out a text/Tweet/IM/Facebook message saying “come to South Street, bring baseball bats” (actual example). Many of them evidently show up looking for trouble, some don’t, but inevitably it becomes a violent mob. This is simply what happens when lots of black people gather together, according to black people.

    The black mobs target white people — again, not because they’re making a statement. They do it because they hate white people, and enjoy attacking them. It’s the same phenomenon underlying “polar bear hunting,” “Knockout King,” and “Beat Whitey Night.”

    No specific event sparks these mobs; blacks have just realized they can get away with anything as long as (1) they attack white people, who are so browbeaten by baseless accusations of “racism” that they feel guilty for simply existing and will not fight back; and (2) they make it crystal clear that the crimes are racially motivated (e.g. all-black assailants traveling miles to white parts of town, picking out white victims, and assaulting them without any economic motive) — that way the media, city government, police, even victims can be relied upon to cover up the crimes, which do not fit the liberal narrative of (fictitious) whites oppressing (equally fictitious) innocent minorities.

    All of the above information has been covered here at some point, and I will add supporting links to this comment after I finished tonight’s/tomorrow’s post.

    Are you saying military men/women are either retarded or too stupid to understand what is happening in American cities as they put their lives on the line 9,000 nautical miles from their homes?     As an African American individual, I understand that there are many other African Americans who do not make the wisest decisions and too often behave inappropriately to the extent that the safety of others is threatened. However, we do not all behave this way. Please do not allow the actions of some (regardless if that “some” is a substantial number of individuals) to form your opinion of an entire race. Their actions are unacceptable, but to think that discrimination is a remedy to the situation is equally unacceptable. Members of EVERY race have commited heinous acts. No one is without sin so no one can throw stones or cast judgments. We all have the inalienable right to safety and the assurance of our well being, but we must find a way to do this without categorizing the rest of us “blacks” as hoodlums and thugs who should not be permitted to attend public events. This bigotry only begets more hatred…and violence.

    There are two ways to “form [an] opinion of an entire race.” One is rational, one is not. Both involve discrimination in the original, neutral sense of the wording: recognizing a distinction. But only one involves discrimination in the negative sense you’re referring to: unjustly treating two groups as different.

    The irrational way is to say, “lots of black people are hoodlums and thugs, therefore all black people are hoodlums and thugs.” Then the (negative) discrimination follows. That is what you seem to think is going on here, which is why you say “we do not all behave this way,” “we must find a way to do this without categorizing the rest of us ‘blacks’ as hoodlums and thugs,” and so on. However, that is not the way Unamusement Park operates.

    The rational way is statistical, and is usually called stereotyping or profiling. It can be illustrated with age and sex instead of race: men are more likely to commit crime than women, and young adults are more likely to commit crime than babies and the elderly. (This is the underlying statistic.) Therefore you are justified in being more concerned about possibly being attacked by a group of young adult men than a gang of toddlers or a pack of grandmothers. In fact, you would be crazy (i.e., irrational) not to.

    This is stereotyping on the basis of age and sex; when the police do it, it’s called profiling. It is a form of discrimination, of course. It is also a perfectly reasonable thing to do — like discriminating against tigers by running away from them because you’re afraid they’ll eat you. Tigers are different from house cats. That is why you need to discriminate (i.e., tell the difference) between them. Blame the tigers, not me.

    It is also true that blacks are more likely commit crime than whites. More specifically, blacks are much, much, much more likely to commit random mob violence than whites; or, as expressed by a black Twitter user, “black people [on average] like to fuck shit up.” This fact justifies stereotyping and profiling; for example, ordinary people and police alike should logically be more suspicious of black people than white people (and men more than women, and young adults more than babies and the elderly, etc.).

    That is the statistical/probabilistic opinion I have formed of your race (as a whole). This is very different from forming an opinion, with certainty, about every member of your race. Try replacing by “blacks” and “whites” by “men” and “women” or “young adults” and “babies” or “tigers” and “house cats” or “whites” and “Asians,” and see if it sounds more acceptable.

    You know what provably begets violence? Ignoring race differences in violence, and pretending that huge mobs of young black people aren’t a threat.

    You know what provably begets hatred? Telling black people that they’re exactly the same as white people except for the color of their skin, so in any place where black people get arrested at a higher rate, it must be white racism keeping them down; any time they fail in school at a higher rate, it must be white racism keeping them down; blah blah blah, white racism keeping them down.

    That’s why they hate white people: because of a lie.
